Our Story
A Little Southern. A Lot of Heart.
Magnolias and Mahjong was born from one simple belief: that a small town deserves a beautiful place to gather, connect, and have a genuinely good time.

"A seat at the table for everyone."
Chasity Kern, Founder
Where the Idea Began
Magnolias and Mahjong started with a question: why doesn't Wynne, Arkansas have a place like this? A space that feels elevated but never stuffy. A place where friends can gather, strangers become regulars, and everyone leaves having had a genuinely great time.
Owner Chasity Kern set out to create exactly that. Drawing on her love of community, her eye for design, and her belief that small towns deserve big experiences, she built Magnolias and Mahjong from the ground up.
What started as a vision for a stylish social space quickly grew into something more. A club. A community. A place with a seat at the table for everyone, whether you have played mahjong for years or have never touched a tile in your life.
Why We Started
Wynne is a town full of people who love to connect. What it needed was a space designed specifically for that. Not a bar. Not a restaurant. Something different. Something that brings people together around a shared experience in a setting that feels genuinely special.
"I wanted to create a place that felt like a treat every single time you walked in the door."
Mahjong was the perfect anchor. It is social, engaging, and accessible to everyone regardless of age or background. Pair that with immersive experiences, and a warm welcoming atmosphere, and you have something truly unique for our community.
Bringing Something New to Wynne
We wanted to give our community an experience they had never had before, right here at home without having to travel for it.
Building Real Connections
Games bring people together in a way that few other things can. We designed this space to make every visit feel like time well spent with people you care about.
Elevating Everyday Life
You do not need a special occasion to deserve a beautiful experience. Magnolias and Mahjong is here for any Tuesday, any birthday, and everything in between.
