Where the Idea Began
Magnolias and Mahjong started with a question: why doesn't Wynne, Arkansas have a place like this? A space that feels elevated but never stuffy. A place where friends can gather, strangers become regulars, and everyone leaves having had a genuinely great time.
Owner Chasity Kern set out to create exactly that. Drawing on her love of community, her eye for design, and her belief that small towns deserve big experiences, she built Magnolias and Mahjong from the ground up.
What started as a vision for a stylish social space quickly grew into something more. A club. A community. A place with a seat at the table for everyone, whether you have played mahjong for years or have never touched a tile in your life.
Why We Started
Wynne is a town full of people who love to connect. What it needed was a space designed specifically for that. Not a bar. Not a restaurant. Something different. Something that brings people together around a shared experience in a setting that feels genuinely special.

Mahjong was the perfect anchor. It is social, engaging, and accessible to everyone regardless of age or background. Pair that with beautifully designed private rooms, immersive experiences, and a warm welcoming atmosphere, and you have something truly unique for our community.
